LiDAR Scan 3D — Terms of Use

Acceptance

By downloading or using LiDAR Scan 3D, you agree to these Terms of Use and to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/), which these terms supplement.

The App

LiDAR Scan 3D creates visual 3D reconstructions of physical objects. Scanning requires a supported LiDAR-equipped iPhone (such as iPhone 12 Pro or a later Pro model) running iOS 17 or later. No account is required.

Free Scan and Lifetime Premium

Your first completed scan on a device is free. Additional scans require Lifetime Premium, a one-time in-app purchase. Scans you've already made remain available to view, share, export and print without it.

The price is shown in the app before you purchase.

Payment

Lifetime Premium is not a subscription. The price is charged once to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, and there are no recurring charges.

The purchase is tied to your Apple Account. Use Restore Purchases to unlock it on your other devices signed in with the same Apple Account.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your Responsibilities

Only scan objects you own or have permission to scan, and use scans in line with applicable law and the rights of others, including copyright, design and trademark rights.

Limitations of 3D Scanning

Scan quality depends on the object, lighting, surface, movement and device. Shiny, transparent or very thin objects may not reconstruct well.

Scans are visual reconstructions, not professional surveying or metrology. We don't guarantee the accuracy of any shape or dimension. Don't rely on scans for engineering, manufacturing, medical, legal or safety-critical decisions, and verify dimensions independently before any fabrication.

Intellectual Property

The app, its design and code belong to Zahid Raza. You own the scans you create, subject to any rights others hold in the objects you scan.

Changes to the Service

We may update, change or discontinue features of the app. Changes to these terms will be shown in the app with a new "last updated" date.

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app or its scans.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.

Scanning uses Apple's Object Capture and needs a LiDAR-equipped iPhone that supports it, such as iPhone 12 Pro or a later Pro model, running iOS 17 or later. On other iPhones the app explains this and scanning isn't available. Tips for a good scan Use bright, even light and a plain surface. Walk slowly around the object and keep it in the frame. Matte objects with visible texture scan best; very shiny, transparent or thin objects may not reconstruct well. Building the model can take a few minutes. Pricing Your first completed scan is free.
